Welcome to the 12-month milestone!
Happy first birthday! Your baby is turning into a toddler, full of curiosity and determination. Around this age, many little ones are standing or taking their first steps, saying simple words, and showing more emotions and preferences. They’re eager to explore, play, and connect with others. It’s also a time of big transitions — from bottles to cups, and from baby food to family meals. Activity Corner

Once your baby has reached 1 year old, you can introduce basic puzzles with large pieces to help develop their problem-solving skills and hand-eye coordination, while
partaking in a fun bonding activity!

Tod-Tidbit

Children start by being ambidextrous! It is normal for your child to use both hands
equally until they are about 2-years old.

Healthy Habits

At this age, you can transition your baby to homomilk (homogenized cow’s milk). This
transition should be slow to allow your baby’s digestive system to adapt to the new
proteins. Aim for less than 500-750ml daily to prevent iron deficiency.
