2 Months

Welcome to your baby’s 2-month milestone! At this age, your little one is starting to recognize your voice, respond to sounds, and make eye contact—early signs of connection and communication. It’s a special time to bond through talking, singing, and cuddling. This page is filled with gentle guidance to support your baby’s early development, especially in language and sensory exploration. Let’s help set the stage for a lifetime of learning—starting now.

Activity Corner

‘Tummy Time’ is an activity where you
lay your baby down on their stomach
while they are awake. Make sure they
are on a soft surface, like a blanket!
It is an important way to strengthen
your baby’s neck muscles and develop
motor skills! This will help your baby
develop the same muscles they’ll
eventually use to move around.

Tod-Tidbit

Honey is dangerous to babies. Do not
give your baby any honey in the first
year of their life - not even in cooked

food!

Babies shouldn’t drink any water
until they’re 6 months old.
Breastfed babies should be given
daily vitamin D supplements.

Healthy Habits

Speaking, singing, and reading aloud to your baby is an excellent way to stimulate their language development and cognitive skills, while also helping you to bond! A good way to do this is by introducing colourful picture books early on. For more information, click here.
